Peaceful, close to great hiking. We also enjoyed many activities in and around the property as the home was fully equipped inside and out with everything you might expect for a getaway on the river. An unexpected and welcome accommodation was the gate on the deck that allowed our dog to roam freely without us worrying about an escape. We weren’t disappointed with our first trip to the Shenandoah Valley.

The house was lovely and exactly as described. Short walk to the river with a fire pit. House was spotless. There were a bunch of tubes and some kayaks and a couple canoes available for use. The owner was very responsive whenever I had questions.

This is a beautiful home located right next to the river! It had everything you could need in the kitchen, a beautiful deck for grilling out, comfortable beds, and was a very peaceful setting. It was just what I was looking for.

Quiet and Peaceful place to relax

The location was perfect for our family getaway. The access to the lazy river was wonderful. The property had kayaks and tubes that made it very easy to lounge in the water. We loved the fire pit at night. We would definitely consider coming back again!
