Hideaway (Sleeps 2) Tucked away in the mountains near Luray, Virginia, this cozy cabin is a secluded couples' retreat with sweeping valley views and a private hot tub on the deck. Small by design and big on quiet, it sits within easy reach of Shenandoah National Park, the Shenandoah River, and Luray Caverns, yet feels like your own hidden corner of the Blue Ridge. The rustic, woodsy interior, fireplace, full kitchen, and outdoor fire pit make it a perfect romantic getaway for two — and yes, your dog is welcome.



There is one king bed in the bedroom upstairs, with a big-screen tv and all the modern amenities, but with a cabin-feel!



You'll have access to the entire cabin - all to yourself.

Other things to note:

ROAD AND VEHICLE: While the cabin is accessible for a normal car, we HIGHLY recommend a higher clearance vehicle like an SUV. Subaru's and RAV4's are common, but many other vehicles are also on the mountain. We offer an SUV (free of charge) to guests who prefer to use it for the final mile to the cabin.



PETS: Pets are welcome (there is a pet fee). There is a pet disclaimer, so please review policies regarding pets under the House Rules.

AMENITY USE: We work hard to keep everything fully operational, but occasionally appliances & equipment such as dishwashers & hot tubs, etc can malfunction. We will service & restore these amenities as quickly as we can, but will not make any rental concession for time without these items. Please follow all guidelines & policies regarding use of amenities in order to keep them functioning properly.

BOOKING MINIMUM: 3 night minimum to book all holidays, 2 night minimum for all non-holiday dates.
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned vacation home, which features a fireplace. There's a private balcony or patio. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. Conveniences include a microwave and a coffee/tea maker.

Cozy, beautiful cabin!

Hideaway cabin was the perfect mountain getaway. My husband and I stayed here with our two dogs and it was so cozy and had everything we needed. The cabin was clean, and had all the essentials for cooking. The views are amazing and we loved using the wood fire stove. We took our dogs to the waterfall hike and they had a blast. Definitely recommend staying here!

One with nature

It felt like we were hundreds of miles from civilization. Fresh air, sounds of nature, and the most beautiful views of the mountains. The drive alone to Hideaway Cabin was amazing and fun. The cabin is small but just right to call home for awhile.

Great tiny cabin!

This cabin is exactly as described and honestly even a little better in person. The road is steep and needs 4WD but it's totally fine. The cabin is a little bigger than I thought and my family of people 5'10+ were comfortable. Firepit had firewood, hot tub worked, grill worked, lots of extras if you forgot something, it was very easy and we were impressed!

Perfect Getaway

We love this cabin and it was perfect for some alone time together. This property is adorable and the photos don’t do it justice. You have everything you need there and the size is very cozy. Even in the winter, with no leaves it is beautiful being on top of the mountain with the view the Hideaway gives, especially from the hot tub. We will definitely come back on the future! Thanks!

It was the perfect place to go for a couples getaway. It was a great size for just two people. There were days we never left the cabin. We just relaxed and enjoyed the amazing view. I would love to book this place again on the future!

A Little Piece of Heaven

My husband and I rented this cabin for the weekend. It was absolutely adorable! The cabin was clean, well organized, and so welcoming. The surrounding area was quiet and peaceful. Our hosts were so kind and and easy to communicate with before and during our visit. We loved our weekend stay and are so grateful to Brian and Susan for sharing their little piece of Heaven with us.
