Excellent stay at this hotel. Reasonable sized room and bathroom. Only downside was advised on check in that breakfast was €15 per day which we booked. 4 days later we were charged €20 per day.

A nice place to stay to visit Riga

The stay is pleasant because of the helpful staff. The room needs renovation as the air conditioning has knocking sounds. It's clean and the facilities are acceptable with kettle and coffee/ tea. The location is excellent.

Great stay in the heart of the city.

The staff was very friendly and helpful - lovely girl at the bar (sorry, didn't know the name) was amazing, very friendly and double checked if the drink was made right. Thank you. The room was lovely, very comfortable. The only negative note would be about the little bottles in the bathroom (shampoos and such) - some of them were half-full. Otherwise a very pleasant stay.

Good location next to old town, but the hotel is very old and requires renovation. There is a ot of flies in the room and the safe was not working, we asked for replacement but it was mot replaced

I like this hotel , stayed here for last 4 years . Roughly 20 times so far . I can see natural wear and tear in Roots and at the property. It is clean and staff is very accommodating, this review is more of a shoutout to the owners and management “ don’t let things get away from you! There are multiple things at the property that need updating and upgrading . Like shower hose and dusty dated curtains, some furniture items and bedding! Small investment here and there will keep loyal customers like me coming back.
