Lovely hotel, ideally placed in the old town with everything close to hand and easy to get to from the airport. Each morning had a good breakfast and the restaurant though closed for 2 nights we were there was excellent the evening we did manage to dine there. Would recommend

Room was spotless and location, food all great. Would have given 5 stars had the receptionist stood by the hotel motto (‘The Mindful Hotel’) because at checkout when I came to pay for the dinner (>€110) I was told I should have presented my discount card before I had the meal(?!). Nobody told me this. It took 3 mins to get the charge corrected . I then paid the city charge without complaint (nobody told me about this ahead of charging me). So I didn’t have the greatest checkout experience and was made to feel quite belittled by the attitude….

If you love architecture this art nouveau hotel is for you-absolutely beautiful. Location central in old town but quiet. Walking distance for sight seeing. Has Michelin starred restaurant in hotel reasonably priced 😀 Studio flat was clean and cosy. Bed so comfortable with quality bedding. Reception and house cleaners were professional and friendly. Nothing was to much trouble

What a dreamy hotel. The rooms are huge and comfortable (especially the heated bathroom floors), the hotel is PERFECTLY located with amazing views from some of the rooms (shout out to room 205) and the price was extremely affordable (barring the cost of breakfast which was around EUR 20/day per person which seemed a little excessive. I would stay here over & over & over again. Loved it.

Really enjoyed staying in this hotel. The rooms were completely soundproof, it was walkable to everything you would want to see in Riga and the heated floor in the bathroom was a big bonus! Staff were great too.

We visited for the Christmas market and booked a suite on two levels. The bedroom and bathroom were at the top of the stairs. There wasn’t a window that you could open and the first night we slept appallingly because it was far too hot. The second night we opened some windows downstairs which helped a bit and by night three we’d worked out windows plus air conditioning were the best way forward! I would not pay for the upgrade again. I wish hotels would have the facility to have a tiny light in the en-suite so you can find the toilet at night but not be under a spotlight. We ended up using the downstairs loo but it was all still too light for me- I know, I’m a pain! The breakfast buffet was very good; plenty of variety and always perfectly topped up. The hotel was very clean and the location, just a 30 second walk from the market, was perfect. We enjoyed ourselves.
Views from our room, you have to hunt for them though as the windows are side on, there’s nothing to see as you walk in the room.

The hotel staff was very friendly, the lobby was beautiful with a bit of a livingroom you can sit in and relax in comfy chairs. The room was nothing short of AMAZING! We were on the third floor, corner facing the Christmas market. We could see just the tops of a couple Christmas stalls. We stayed in 3 diff hotels in three diff countries and this was our favorite!
