Convenient and clean hotel.

Lovely clean spacious room. Breakfast had cooked options slightly earlier than the official 6am start (before that it is continental only). Convenient to the airport but had the impression it was a few minutes walk but it is over 20 in part on sand and unlit roads so not great for wheely bags. There is a public bus (22) every half hour which takes you to the door and ours at 6:14am arrived on the dot. 5 minutes to the airport.

Great but odour of pets

Bed and pillows very comfortable. Everything was clean. Check in was quick. Breakfast plentiful and quite good. Only down side was my room smelled like wet dog. They are a pet friendly hotel so I guess that explains it. Smell was strong, noticeable as soon as I opened the door. Also caused me a bit of congestion. Might not be a suitable place for those with allergies to cats and dogs. After flying for 18 hours though I wasn't up for a room change. Everything else was great though.

The room was nice and staff helpful. The food selection for breakfast was very “American like” and extremely disappointing and not fitting for Europe and Riga. The location to the airport was too far, no side walk to walk and charged EUR 8 for 5 min shuttle to the airport. It should be a free service. Breakfast should be better. The Sky High Hotel rooms were old and basic but clean and their breakfast was top notch. Given a choice we would pick Sky High. Disappointing given I’m a Hilton Honors member.

An easy 15minute walk from the airport, though also the bus 22 (to/from Riga & Riga airport) stops right outside. Lovely modern rooms, professional staff and tasty breakfast.

It was mentioned that the hotel was within five minutes' walk from airport which was not true. We had to hire a shuttle bus to get there and pay hotel shuttle to take us back to the airport. There is no way one could walk to hotel area unsafe for walking due to being located along side of major highway.
