Lakefront Cottage

Come escape to the Northwoods at this adorable rustic cottage just steps from beautiful Lake Thompson with unbeatable views! A perfect place for couples and small families. **There is another cottage right next to this one that is owned and managed by the same family, both cabins together can sleep up to 10 guests. **
The space
When you think of a cottage in northern Wisconsin this is it! Lakefront cottage is located just steps from the sandy shore of Lake Thompson located just a view miles east of downtown Rhinelander with great dining/shopping options nearby.

There are two bedrooms and one bathroom (4 guest max). One bedroom holds a queen bed and the other has two twins. The kitchen is fully stocked for all of your cooking and baking needs. Enjoy grilling out lakeside with our charcoal grill. The large windows overlooking the lake provide breathtaking views! Nothing beats listening to the waves crashing in and the sound of loons as you fall asleep at night. The cottage is also equipped with high-speed charter internet. There is one smaller TV in the living room with a roku player hooked up allowing for streaming from your favorite apps.

Lakefront cottage is a part of a small condo association that shares outside amenities such as the beach area, docks, swim platform, etc. We ask all guest to please be courteous of our neighbors/renters. This unit shares 2 adult kayaks, 1 kid kayak, and one stand up paddle board with our other unit next door.
**We have added a rental pontoon to our rentals on Lake Thompson. Pontoon is available weekly or daily (2 day minimum). Please inquire about availability before booking**
Other things to note
Dog Friendly: We are dog friendly and allow ONE dog at a fee of $10/night. All dogs must be leashed when outside. Make sure to "add on" your pet to your stay before booking with us.

Parking notes: 2 spots are available.*Please ask about trailer parking.

Dock Details: During your stay you will have access to two docks, which are shared by neighboring cottages. A L-dock with a bench in the swimming area and a 50 ft. straight dock for fishing and tying up boats. Public boat launch is just down the road.

Baby/Kid Friendly: This cottage is baby/kid friendly with a pack n play, high-chair, and additional kid/baby items available upon request.
