Beautiful hotel (in the midst of being restored).

This hotel was built in 1910 and has been well maintained! We arrived late at night and actually drove past it. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly (we were the last to check in for the night). The hotel is going under renovations, so the kitchen/restaurant was closed. However, there were provisions in the large refrigerator in our room. The room was HUGE, and cutely decorated. There is no onsite parking, and the lot across the street was already filled. We did have to park a few blocks away.

St Anthony (I like to call it San Antonio, but, that town is in Texas!) St. Anthony is only about a 1 hour drive from West Yellowstone MT. That means you can skip the nearly $300 per night hotels in West Yellowstone and keep a bit more money in your pocket. The folks made us feel very welcome. It is a very comfortable Inn. It will have its own restaurant soon, it's still under construction. It also has a well stocked bar so you really won't have to leave the premises once the restaurant is finished. While it really is still a work in progress, all that has been completed is very tasteful and well appointed. Our room was very special. We're planning on going back!

The property itself is very old but updated. I saw plenty of wear and tear. My room was a little noisy being right by the street and stairwell. The customer service was very good. They provided food and drinks for breakfast in my fridge. You also have access to a gym next door. Pros outweigh the few cons.

We felt like we were staying in a kitchen with a bed in it, but it was very clean, I’m not one to have to cook breakfast in the morning when I’m on vacation! Location was 72 miles from east entrance to Yellowstone so that was a bit to far to drive every day, and we stayed 3 days, and we had to climb 24 steps to get to room, not pleasant with luggage!!

Much larger and nicer rooms than anticipated. While the building is old, it has a certain charm and the amenities are awesome. It is more like a furnished apartment with separate bedrooms and a partially stocked kitchen. Very glad to be here, even if it is just for one night.

This is an old hotel, built in 1910 but has been recently renovated. We enjoyed our stay. Randall was great and greeted us warmly. Look up the history of this hotel... you might have an occasion to entertain a ghost or two. :)
