Family holiday in Rethymno

We had a great family holiday at Villa Milli. The villa itself is in a fabulous location with a jaw dropping view, huge gardens and a couple of tavernas nearby which were well priced. The fact that the villa is split into 2 apartments worked well for us and the concierge service available to guests is brilliant. Very quick responses to any of our questions over text and they organised taxis with a baby seat when we wanted to go into town for dinner and made lots of recommendations to us. Definitely need a car but would throughly recommend if you want to be near to Rethymno town but staying slightly out of the centre in a more peaceful location.

Perfect getaway with friends!

What a fabulous place! Our group of six friends came to stay, as our other friends were getting married down in the old town. We had the best time. The house was fabulous (actually two apartments, but worked fine for us), with so many wonderful places to sit and spend time together, especially outdoors and the great pool (we left some pool toys as a little thank you!). The town was just a quick ten minute drive away (you'll absolutely want a car though! Not a walkable route in that heat), although plenty of shops and bits closer to get all you need. The host Andreas was an absolute star, answering all our questions, giving us amazing recommendations, and coming to our aid quickly and kindly, even last minute and late night. Cannot thank him enough! Stay here, you won't regret it.

A dream of a house in a perfect location

This was the nicest place we have ever been to. The house is close to Rethymno, but uphill overlooking the sea. The garden is beautiful and there are many nice places to read and relax, including an olive tree orchard. The whole place has a lot of charme and the photos correspond to exactly what it looks like. There was a large and well maintained pool with clear water to refresh or to just sit by its side and relax. The house is spacious and clean and would be perfect for a larger group of up to 8. We were a family of 5 with 3 teenager who had their own appartment downstairs. The owner is very kind and extremely helpful and whenever we had a question he immediately helped. Thank you Andreas for this perfect holidays. A car is needed to reach the house and to drive to the shops and beaches but none of these are far, also there are plenty of nice restaurants in the vicinity. We tried some on the North side close to Rethymno, but also those with clearer and colder water in the South. Amazingly for us there was a lot of wind which was nice as it never felt unbearably hot and we also had days with a wavy sea, much enjoyable for our kids. Other days were calm, so a good mixture.

Wunderbar

Schönes Haus, gut ausgestattete Küche, Pool ca 10 m lang und 1.20m tief, war perfekt für die ganze Familie. Toller Aussicht in den Bergen und Meer. Hauseigentümer Andreas wohnt nebenan, war immer schnell erreichbar für alles und hat uns tolle Tips gegeben. Die Agentur hat auch eine tolle Betreuung per Whatsapp. Die Lage ist gut, 10 min mit Auto nach Rethymno und Strand. Sehr zu empfehlen

Perfekt

- Der Kontakt mit Kostas/etouri war vorbildlich, wir haben uns jederzeit gut betreut gefühlt. Mietwagenvermittlung auch sehr angenehm und unkompliziert. - Haus und Grundstück sind sehr schön und außerordentlich gepflegt. Sehr gut ausgestattet, alles funktioniert, schöne Plätzchen überall im Garten. Die unteren Schlafzimmer bilden eine eigene Wohnung mit separatem Eingang, hier wohnten unsere erwachsenen Söhne. Die Lage ist perfekt, ruhig (tagsüber auf der Straße nicht viel Verkehr, nachts total ruhig) und dennoch alles gut erreichbar. Der Blick ist phantastisch. Der Pool ist schön groß und wurde jeden Morgen gepflegt. - Der Besitzer Andreas ist sehr nett und wohnt mit seiner Familie auf dem Grundstück. Trotzdem ist man ganz für sich, der Garten ist nicht einsehbar und wir haben voneinander nicht viel mitbekommen. Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub! Ευχαριστώ πολύ!

Ein traumhaftes Haus

Wir haben 3 tolle Wochen in dieser schönen Villa verbracht. Der große Pool, die herrliche Aussicht, das geräumige und gut ausgestattete Haus, der große Garten mit vielen liebevollen Sitzecken und die sehr netten und zuvorkommenden Besitzer, haben es zu einem rundum gelungenen Urlaub gemacht. Die Villa ist sehr sauber, bei unsere Ankunft stand ein Obstkorn, Kuchen, Kaffee und Wasser bereit und 2x in der Woche kam eine nette Putzfee, die Handtücher und Bettwäsche gewechselt hat. Wir haben es sehr genossen außerhalb von Rethymno, in einem wunderschönen Olivenhain zu wohnen und trotzdem in 10 min. in der süßen Altstadt oder am Strand zu sein. Ein Mietwagen ist unbedingt empfehlenswert! Die Etouri Vermietungsagentur hat uns eine Mietwagenfirma empfohlen, die den ganzen Papierkram bereits vorab per Mail erledigt hat und uns dann das Auto am Flughafen sehr nett und unkompliziert übergeben hat. Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Aufenthalt in der Villa Milli.
