Gateway Suites - Harmony

A private plunge pool in a secluded courtyard and 40 m² for up to 4, in the heart of Rethymno Old Town. Harmony is a ground-floor suite with a king bed (1.80 m), two sofa beds, a lounge area, a 55-inch TV and a kitchenette with electric stove and microwave. The Venetian Harbour and the Lighthouse are close by, with taverns, cafes and shops a few minutes` walk away. Breakfast is not included in the stay; it is available at an extra charge and can also be served in your suite.

Harmony is the only Gateway suite with its own plunge pool, set in a secluded interior courtyard on the ground floor. With 40 m² and room for up to 4 guests, it suits a couple on a city break or a small family who want to stay in the Old Town.

Private plunge pool: the courtyard and its pool are for your use only, with outdoor furniture for a morning coffee or some Greek wine in the evening.

Space: at 40 m² this is the largest of the Gateway suites, with a lounge area, a 55-inch TV with HDMI connectivity, an elegant marble floor and a kitchenette.

Location: Damvergi Street is in the heart of Rethymno Old Town, next to the Venetian Harbour and the Lighthouse, with taverns, cafes and shops a few minutes` walk away.

The suite is a single open-plan room, listed as 1 bedroom, where the sleeping and lounge areas share the space. It sleeps up to 4 in 1 king bed (1.80 m) and 2 sofa beds, and has 1 bathroom with eco-friendly toiletries and a hair dryer. The kitchenette has an electric stove, a microwave, a mini fridge, a kettle and a choice of coffee makers, and there is a dining table.

Practical points: air conditioning, heating, Wi-Fi, a safe, an iron and room-darkening shades are provided. We serve a buffet breakfast. Breakfast is not included in the stay; it is available at an extra charge and can also be served in your suite.

Guests have private use of the suite and its secluded interior courtyard with plunge pool; the entrance and reception (open until 23:00) are at 4a Nikolaou Plastira Street.

Our reception team welcomes you in person, hands over your keys and is happy to help with restaurant and sightseeing tips or practical questions about the Old Town. Check-in is from 16:00 to 23:00 and check-out is by 11:00. Outside reception hours you can reach us by message through the app, and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Gateway Suites is on Damvergi Street in the heart of Rethymno Old Town, one of the streets that lead into the town from the Venetian Harbour. The harbour and its Lighthouse are close by, and the open-air shopping area, fish taverns, restaurants, cafes, patisseries and bars are a few minutes` walk away. Chania airport is approx. 65 km by road.

The Old Town is lively all year round. It is also a residential area where sound carries in the narrow lanes, so quiet hours are 14:00-18:00 and 23:00-08:00.

The Old Town is easy to explore on foot, and everything you need is a few minutes` walk from the suite. The entrance and the reception are at 4a Nikolaou Plastira Street.

Approximate road distances: Chania airport approx. 65 km, Heraklion airport approx. 85 km, Chania port (Souda) approx. 50 km, Heraklion port approx. 80 km.

Parking: free parking nearby, subject to availability on the day of arrival; a space cannot be reserved in advance. Paid public parking, charged by the hour, is also close by.

Harmony accommodates up to 4 guests. Smoking is permitted outdoors only, never inside the suite. The plunge pool is in your private courtyard, so please keep a close eye on children around the water at all times. Please let us know your estimated arrival time before you travel, especially if you expect to arrive late in the evening.
