I chose this hotel because it’s pets friendly, free parking, free breakfast, the indoor pool for the kids, and in front the marina which is the best part of Reno. The room was clean, basic amenities and what we need. I only gave 4 stars because, I called ahead of time to asked if the pool was heated, yes was the answer, but when we tried to use it was icy cold- we had to leave right away. We had 15 hours drive and I just wanted my kids to get their wiggles out and it was disappointed they couldn’t use the pool due to the cold temperature. If they could fix the pool- this hotel would have been perfect! However, the location was good! In front of the marina where we took our kids and dog for walk and to the playground.

Nowhere on the website does it say that you have to be 21 to check in. I crossed checked the entire page with not viewing any content about that. My son who is 19 and alone, was not able to stay in the hotel. The room reservation was canceled when he got there and attempted to check in.

“Eric” at check-in couldn’t have been more bothered by his job. Super unfriendly and if this was my hotel “Eric” would 100% not be the first contact customers would have with my hotel brand.
