You’ll find our historic country house right in the center of Reit im Winkl. Our 7 double rooms and 2 vacation apartments are ideal for a relaxing family vacation for 2 to 4 people. Sun worshippers can truly unwind in our beer garden. The outdoor pool and the mini-golf course are located right next to the Lenzenhof. But hiking enthusiasts won’t be left out either. You can start your hike into the magnificent mountain scenery right outside our front door. You can safely leave your car behind during your winter vacation. Cross-country ski trails and ski buses are just a few minutes’ walk away. Even if you don’t want to hit the trails on skis, there’s a groomed walking path right next to almost every cross-country ski trail for our walkers.

Our two-room apartments can accommodate 2–4 people. A small kitchenette for self-catering is at your disposal. All linens are provided. The vacation apartment features a bedroom with 1 double bed, 2 twin beds, 1 sofa bed, a shower, a toilet, and a balcony facing south or north. Upon request, you can take advantage of our bread roll service or (for an additional fee) help yourself to the breakfast buffet.
Reit im Winkl: A Climatic Health Resort According to Wikipedia, the designation “climatic health resort” is awarded to “towns whose air and climate, according to an expert assessment, possess qualities that are beneficial to health and relaxation.” Reit im Winkl was designated a climatic health resort in 1956 and has consistently met the criteria for this designation ever since through its ongoing efforts. One key factor is its elevation, which ensures that summer heat remains moderate and nights stay pleasantly cool. The town is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and, in terms of its general climate, belongs to the “Bavarian Alps” climate region. The character of the weather is decisively determined by the local conditions—that is, by the influence of the mountain ranges and valleys on weather patterns. In addition to the natural conditions that ensure good air quality, we actively work to preserve the fresh mountain air by utilizing natural heat sources and providing ample bus service.
