The Pürner House is located in the heart of the health resort of Reit im Winkl in Chiemgau. Cozy one-, two-, and three-room apartments await you. Each apartment is equipped with a kitchenette, shower/toilet, hair dryer, telephone, and TV. We also offer a sauna, a solarium, a large lawn with a barbecue area, and a small playground with a slide and a swing. (Use of the sauna and solarium is available for a small fee.) In addition, we offer a beverage and bread roll delivery service. Our town boasts numerous recreational facilities, such as the outdoor pool and tennis courts. Idyllic hiking trails lead you directly from our house into unspoiled nature. In about 5 minutes on foot, you can reach the cross-country skiing stadium, the trails, the ski bus, and the ski school.

Reit im Winkl: A Climatic Health Resort According to Wikipedia, the designation “climatic health resort” is awarded to “localities whose air and climate, according to an expert assessment, possess characteristics that are beneficial for relaxation and health.” Reit im Winkl was designated a health resort in 1956 and has consistently met the criteria for this designation ever since through its ongoing efforts. One key factor is its high elevation, which ensures that summer heat is moderate and nights remain pleasantly cool. The town is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and, in terms of its general climate, belongs to the “Bavarian Alps” climate region. The character of the weather is decisively determined by the local conditions—that is, by the influence of the mountain ranges and valleys on weather patterns. In addition to the natural conditions that ensure good air quality, we actively work to preserve the fresh mountain air by utilizing natural heat and providing ample bus service.
