We offer cozy one-room apartments for two people, each with a balcony and cable TV. You’re welcome to take advantage of our bread roll and beverage service. In the summer, you can relax on the terrace and the lovely lawn. The Liebertingerhof is a starting point for beautiful hikes and is located right on the bike path to Ruhpolding and the cross-country ski trail in winter. Reit im Winkl, a climatic health resort. According to Wikipedia, the designation “climatic health resort” is awarded to “locations whose air and climate, according to an expert assessment, possess qualities that are beneficial to health and relaxation.” Reit im Winkl was designated a health resort in 1956 and has consistently met the criteria for this designation ever since through ongoing efforts. One key factor is its high elevation, which ensures that summer heat is moderated and nights remain pleasantly cool. The town is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and, in terms of its general climate, belongs to the “Bavarian Alps” climate region. The character of the weather is largely determined by the local conditions—that is, by the influence of the mountain ranges and valley cuts on weather patterns. In addition to the natural conditions that ensure good air quality, we actively work to preserve the fresh mountain air by utilizing natural heat sources and providing ample bus service.
