A nice city hotel very well located in Regensburg

+Excellent location, friendly staff, clean bathroom, comfortable bed, fantastic breakfast, and free waters from the hotel. - the AC was good but would turn off after 1 hour, the window was next to a bar that was open until 2am on the weekend. Overall, we had a nice stay at the Hotel Am Peterstor.

This hotel is an easy walk from the main train station and also from the old city center. Our ground-floor room was off a secluded and quiet courtyard. The breakfast buffet was great and we appreciated the complimentary welcome drink.

Desk staff abrupt when registering. Did not mention restricted service desk coverage (although it was posted on entry door in German and small print in elevator/room). Was not told registering that we had to request room service on a daily basis or when wanted. Why bother having a do not disturb sign in room? No telephone in room with no night staff - why should guest have to pay for international call if emergency. No Kleenex in room. Could not shower last evening - all towels wet with no one at desk that could provide. Without automatic room cleaning toilet paper supply ran low. No inquiry when checking out how stay was. Would not rebook.

Great hotel

The staff was wonderful, helpful and friendly. the rooms were clean and the beds comfortable except the pillows were too soft. Both morning and evening staff were took time to help us plan our visit. Parking close by and free, all in all highly recommend
