We greatly enjoyed our stay and exploring the area. The house is just like what in a retirement home with gameroom downstairs, a nice fire pit to enjoy at night by the water, and plenty of room. Next time we'd like to bring our grandkids to enjoy.

We really enjoyed being right on the water for kayaking. The house was plenty spacious for five of us, and the kitchen well stocked with essentials. We enjoyed the fire pit. Even though we were there in shoulder season, we enjoyed walking to Fawn’s coffee shop, lunch at Newsome’s and dinner at Horn Harbor when we didn’t eat at the house. This property is wonderful. We appreciated the thoughtful amenities and care the hosts obviously have for this property. Our dog loved being able to play in the large yard. We loved being right on the water. The location is fabulous. We had great meals from Newsome's, Horn Harbor Restaurant and Fawn's Delectable Cafe. We enjoyed exploring the Northern Neck! We hope the stars align so we can return on another getaway.

Veteran retreat

The property is ideal for a perfect getaway. We crabbed and caught about 2 dozen. (Both line and crab traps in September) The property has everything you could want! The host is quick to respond to questions. If you need to unplug and getaway, this is the place. The town of Reedville, it closes down early or completely Mon-Wed however great locally owned businesses are open Thursday-Sun.
