I have been traveling for over 50 years and had the worst hotel experience ever at the Thunderbird Lodge. The rooms are fine, nicely updated, but the room next to me was rented to a group for a party. I never went to sleep as I heard every word of their party until 3 00am. I am requesting a full refund!

The recent remodeling and updating of rooms and facilities makes this a great place to stay. The rooms are always clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. The motel is centrally located in downtown in a safe walkable neighborhood.

We were on bottom level of the newly decorated section of the motel. I appreciated the cleanliness. But with no carpet it was extremely noisy from the people above us. We heard every step, movement of furniture, etc. also if you’re a lite sleeper there was street noise. Breakfast choices were minimal. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Was unable to stay for breakfast and had family emergency. had to check in only to sleep a few hours. Staff had to wake t up to let us in. understand it is his job but felt so appreciated for him during a stressful and sleep deprived momemt. Only stayed or 3 hour sleep. Beds comfortable.

The retro 1960’s motel is being completely upgraded with very clean, modern style. It is right in the middle of trendy section of Redding. Very walkable to restaurants, shops, events, and bike trails.
