The staff were accommodating. I wasnt going to be able to hav breakfast so it was arranged for me to pick up a breakfast box. It was great having the pub next door. The 850 bus goes from outside into Henley-on-Thames regularly

Arrived early as we were going to a festival, went into the pub/ restaurant first for a breakfast. Waffles & berries was not great, fruit were definitely frozen & looked like mush on presentation, my cornflake chicken burger was luck warm as was my daughter full breakfast. Fulfilled its purpose for 1 night for me. Staff friendly and helpful, room good size and clean. Pity no air con ( i stsyed during the v hot weather). A garage overlooking with bright lights on all night ut seemed. Goid value. Would stay again if in the area and needed

Reasonable rooms but avoid the restaurant

Previous experience with Green King properties has been negative, so I was initially impressed when checking in. All reception staff were extremely polite and helpful. The room was fairly spacious with a sofa on one side. The room was quite clean, as was the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable, and there was a large TV. The shower has good pressure and maintained a fairly constant temperature. The main negative was the extremely hot temperature; there was only a small fan to help with this. The window barely opened, which exacerbated the problem. The restaurant, however, was awful. Firstly, the table was sticky which makes you doubt the general hygiene within the establishment. Then, you're forced to download yet another app to order food, or join a long and not moving queue at the bar. There was no cutlery in the self serve tray, so they had to be requested from staff, these were dirty when brought to the table. The quality of the food was below average; chips stick together, too much use of the microwave, etc.
