First, when we arrived at the front desk to check in there were 3 staff members behind the desk. That being said, not 1 of the three acknowledged our presence for nearly 5 minutes - not even to say they would be with us shortly. In addition I booked a room based on the pictures on the hotel website that showed a room with a queen bed, a small kitchen area ( microwave, sink and mini fridge and seating area. When we went to the room it looked like the room picture but there was no sitting area. When I asked about it RAVEN was very rude and condescending. We have stayed at this hotel at least 5 times a year for the past 10 years and this is without a doubt the worst experience we have ever had. In addition, the they are apparently remodeling as all wallpaper has been removed and the walls painted a stark white throughout the entire building. The young man who was at the desk when we arrived and when he finally acknowledged our presence acted as though we were an annoyance he was forced to deal with. His response to my question about possible compensation for the room was “Good luck with that! The only bright spot of our 4 day stay was the African American young lady who explained to me that she took care of the breakfast and the lobby area. We did not have the room taken care of the 4 days we were there but had to ask 4 times for additional towels. A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT compared to nothing but positive experiences in the past.

Our room had a broken mirro that should be fixed, tape.on the behind door cause there is no stoooer for the door to make.sure it dosent it the wall. Cracks in the celinng in main room and baghroom . Just needs proper touch up.

Door key card didn't work. Worker reset twice, second time had to reprogram door itself. Worked to get in once that was it. Hotel not in best shape, alot of drywall patches, repairs no recent paint. Heater unit had noise also so could not get sleep. Checked out within ~6 hrs.

I stay here for the proximity to family. Unfortunately, the rooms are falling apart and the matreses and linens need to be replaced. Oh, and the elevator complains about every trip up and down.
