Good Location

Good location, good selection at breakfast - cooked and fresh fruit etc. Rooms are tired and need updating. The room I had 141 smelt. Being there for a few days the Gym could do with being open a little earlier. Also find it off-putting that you have pay for parking on top of what you have paid already to stay.

Family friendly hotel- would stay again.

We stayed here on our way home from Thorpe Park to break up the journey- me and my husband and our 3 young cousins (9, 11 and 12). We were given the adjoining rooms that we requested and rooms were made up for all of us. Rooms were clean and comfortable, even the sofa beds. Showers were hot with decent pressure. Breakfast was great- it was nice to see alternative milk option out as we usually have to request it at other hotels! Staff were really helpful and friendly. There are plenty of shops/takeaways around and a grassy park to go for a stroll just behind the hotel. We would definitely stay again.

Noisy guests all the time - unable to sleep

This appears to be a popular hotel for tourists, people travelling or attending private events hosted at the hotel so it’s incredibly busy. This also meant it was extremely nosy during our recent visit. Doors slamming constantly, guests running into each others rooms, drunken guests talking loudly down the corridors early hours of the morning, it was just a terrible stay all around. Even after complaining to reception and asking guests politely to keep the noise down, it still continued. It wasn’t a relaxing stay at all and we definitely won’t be booking here again. It’s a shame as the actual hotel and staff are great, but there’s too many guests that have no consideration for anyone that make this stay awful.
