I was offered a newly refurbished “Club Room” for which I paid an additional £10. The room was fabulous. High end bathroom fittings, lights all over the room which were turned on/off by a switch by the bed. The staff were excellent, with directions and assistance with printing documents. Good value for money and hugely recommended.

The room was average. The beds need attention or replacement, as the springs are worn out. We could clearly hear noise from the opposite room even with the doors closed, which made the stay quite noisy. I wouldn’t recommend this place for couples or families. The staff were good, and all the in-room amenities were satisfactory. However, the tap water was not drinkable, as it had a rusty taste, and the towels appeared yellowish for some reason. I felt its pricey for this kind of hotel. We choose this hotel because it was near to my sisters home during Christmas.

This is a pretty run down place with rotten windows, cheap toiletries and drinks. The staff are friendly and the rooms clean with the highest water pressure I've ever known. Breakfast offered a good choice. There was a fridge and microwave in the room which was unexpected and they offered a reasonably priced set of simple meals. I think there a probably a lot of workmen stay here.

Unfortunately, the rooms aren’t soundproof at all. You can easily hear people talking, phones ringing, and doors opening and closing next door. It gets really annoying and makes it hard to relax.
