Lovely place on Samet

Really lovely stay here. Room was perfect with nice balcony overlooking the sea. The resort is well maintained with a cute pool and bar area. Restaurant was great although the breakfast was just okay nothing special.

Superior room. A small window makes the room feel pretty closed. Mould in the shower roof, and overall old feeling. Guess the sea view bungalows are the ones you should get, not a villa room. Breakfast not more than OK.

The property is in a beautiful, quiet location on the peninsula of the beach and that was one of the main reasons we booked it. Upon arrival we were informed the pool was shut for maintenance. It was not stated anywhere on the booking or website that it was shut. If you are looking at booking this I would not book until after the 31st of July as that’s when the sign said it would be finished. It really dampened our holiday as we now had to pay for chairs on the beach everyday. We were not compensated at all. The menu is heavily seafood base and when asked for a simple request of garlic butter with the prawns they couldn’t do it as it was only for the scallops. The staff didn’t really seem bothered about helping at all, you will get better service at the restaurants on the beach. We kept trying to give the hotel a chance but it just kept disappointing. I still would consider returning.

När man väljer att så nära stranden på en mindre ö så får man vara beredd på att byggkvaliteten inte är speciellt bra. Husen är mycket trevliga invändigt men rummen är små och det är princip sommarstugor på stolpar, vilket gör att det blir mycket ljud när det blåser. Men läget 5 m från vattnet är oslagbart.

En perle på Koh Samet

Det er andre gang vi besøker Vimarnsamed, og vi kommer gjerne tilbake. Lekkert resort som ligger for seg selv. God mat og drikke serveres her. Personalet her er vennlig og vi ble kjent igjen av dem som var her da vi har her sist. Eneste å usette, er at de unge i service står og sitter med fjeset i mobilen ved første mulighet. Det gjør at deres oppmerksomhet til gjestene forsvinner. Kanskje sistnevnte er et gjennomgående problem med unge i 2025?

Lugn och fin resort

En mysig och lugn resort med pool. Personal är trevligare och hjälpsamma. och Resort ligger i ett lugnt område där får man koppla av utan att bli störa så mycket. Dock en liten bit från centrum/ huvuds ö som tar ca 10-15 min med moped/bil dit. Men det finns mini-Market och några restauranger i närheten som är bra. Överlag är bra!

Un lieu magique et reposant

Un endroit magnifique situé sur une pointe s'avançant dans l'océan en bout de baie ; les cabanes se fondent dans la géographie du lieu et forment un ensemble harmonieux. Les arbres sont illuminés la nuit et composent un décor enchanteur. Lieu idéal pour admirer le lever du soleil. Pas de moustiques à Vimarn Resort en janvier 2024 ce qui n'est pas le cas partout sur Wong Duean baie. Service attentionné et très aimable. Accès possible à la plage du voisin, Samed Cabana.
