Frye Island Retreat: Steps to Beach 6 + Spectacular Private Backyard & Patio
Located in the heart of Frye Island, enjoy what this 3-bedroom house plus loft has to offer. The home is set back on a quiet street with a large yard, making it ideal for families. The property is conveniently situated directly across from Beach 6 and only a five-minute walk to the Community Center (featuring a playground, tennis and basketball courts, and indoor activities). In addition, the ferry, general store (ice cream, dining, coffee, and shopping), and golf course (with outdoor lounge and bar) are just minutes away!
With 2 bedrooms with queen beds (both first floor bedrooms feature ceiling fans, one also includes a window A/C) and a pair of twin beds in the loft as well as the finished basement bedroom, guests will find the accommodations ideal for family getaways or hosting friends for a relaxing getaway on Sebago Lake. The open living space is complete with a well-equipped kitchen, cathedral ceilings, large windows with garden views, gorgeous wood floors, comfortable furnishings, and one full bathroom (plus there is an outdoor shower!). In addition to the finished bedroom, the basement includes a second full-size refrigerator/freezer (plenty of fridge space for your stay!) and a washer and dryer. Inside the detached garage, you will find beach toys, beach chairs, a kayak, paddleboards, and floats for your use - everything you need for fun on the water!
Enjoy your own private, fully fenced-in backyard garden with stunning perennials and fully lit patio with outdoor seating, fire pit, propane gas grill, and outdoor bar top with fridge. Or, choose to relax on the large outdoor deck directly off the living room, which offers shade, more seating, and outdoor dining behind the privacy of lush wisteria. The backyard also includes a welcoming outdoor shower, a perfect summertime luxury! Additionally, the stairs to the back deck feature a unique foot wash, making it easy to stroll back and forth to the beach without worrying about bringing sand into the home.
With a private boardwalk leading to the entrance to Beach 6 (one of the most iconic on the Island with a beautiful sandy beach, lighthouse, and incredible sunsets) directly across the road, access to the lake is incredibly convenient and only moments away. The driveway offers plenty of parking (4+ spaces) and space for your boat trailer (bring your boat for extra fun on the lake!). The garage is also available for storage, like your bikes, paddleboards, fishing gear, etc.

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights, lock the doors, and return the keys
Please take trash (bagged) and mixed recycling to the Island’s transfer station (open Sa, Su, Wed during high season & Sa, Su in off season) upon departure. Wed. trips suggested for weeklong stays.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
