I am not sure whey it cost $180 for a hotel in Rawlins, but the hotel was okay. Nothing special, but we were able to get a ground floor room with easy access to the parking lot which helps on a cross country trip. The in-house restaurant was the star of the hotel, nice to have a good place to eat without having to get back in the car after drivng all day.

Great stop especially if you are traveling with pets. No frills room but exterior exit was great for the dog and breakfast was above average for hotel fare.

They just don’t care

Booked the room for our anniversary specifically for the pool and hot tub. When booked we didn’t know if we were going to have to bring our dog so booked a pet friendly room. When we arrived I asked if we could stay in a non pet friendly room since we didn’t bring our dog - I was told that’s what you booked. Ok I guess we get it. I mentioned we were excited to use the pool and hot tub and asked the hours was told 8am-10pm I believe. We get to our room, towels were messed up, it looked like the floor hadn’t seeped and went to turn on a light and find the plug was cut. So far all minor things. What put us over the edge- was when we went to use the hot tub at 8:05 AM the signs were closed. We just thought it was because they hadn’t turned the sign over so we went in and got into the hot tub. About 10 minutes later if even gentlemen came by and insinuated can’t you read the sign says closed. I asked why is it closed and we were told it was closed all day for maintenance. There is an opportunity here one just be nice but also when I asked about the hot tub you could have shared tomorrow it is fully closed, you could also put up a sign stating closed for maintenance- I’m not sure I believe that it really was closed for maintenance. After checking out, I didn’t get a text to do a survey which I did. They asked for feedback. I told her it was gonna be raised and they were gonna get back to me. It’s been a week with no response back.

We had a great experience at the Best Western. The staff was excellent! I even had a housekeeper ask me in passing if i needed anything before i left and she brought towels to my room. Breakfast was good, but i would suggest doing away with the pre made omelet, they are just not good. Otherwise a good breakfast. Pool was great and clean. All the facilities were really nice. Our room was very nice and i just noticed some small maintenance stuff that needs to be delt with like chipped paint, swelled door, shower slow draining. But otherwise good condition and clean room. We have really been happy with Best Western

The hotel was pet friendly. The complimentary breakfast was average. The carpet on the room was not clean. The bedsheets had stains. The Bathroom tub did not drain water and was not clean. Overall average to poor experience.
