Great place to stay

What a perfect place to stay. The managers worked to help me with a coffee table so I could set up my computer. The room was large, clean, and the kitchen was just great to fix meals. Anytime I had a question and need that took care of it. 100% satisfied- 7 day stay. Good location to get all around the Black Hills, Custer State Park, and the caves.

Good Location

It was a central location to all my South Dakota stops (Crazy Horse, Mt. Rushmore, Badlands National Park, Wind Cave National Park and RAP airport). It can use some updating (sound proofing in the walls and new mattresses/pillows), but the staff was friendly.

Perfect central location.

Had a great time. Rooms are comfortable, staff are very friendly. Breakfast is basic but some cereal and toast was perfect before a busy morning of hiking. Coffee was Great. If you need some protein they sell some Jimmy bean breakfast sandwiches that you can microwave. I would highly recommend booking a gold mining tour with Rattle Snake Randy. We had a great morning with him and found some gold.

Rockerville was an enjoyable stay. The room was clean, nicely maintained and I loved that it had a full kitchenette including a refrigerator with freezer, which was helpful to get my cooler packs frozen again for a long drive. The room was comfortable, check in quick and easy and I liked that parking was right in front on room (room was one flight up but not a problem). The property is about a 12-15 min drive into town and not too far but the terrain does make it feel a little bit longer than it actually is. All in all and really nice comfortable place to stay. I was only there for one night but it would have been great to stay longer given the comfort of the room.

Very friendly people and an enjoyable stay. The continental breakfast was more than adequate and greatly appreciated. The divided site with the highway between makes things tricky, so care must be taken. I really liked the history associated with the place also.
