The room was clean but smelled a bit musty. The shower head would not stay upright so had to be used hand held. The washroom was quite small. The building felt like a summer camp dorm with the rooms downstairs and the common area above.

The room was so small for 3 of us . The number to contact the cottage in-charge was not reachable . We had a power cut and something was alarming the entire night after the power cut .. No one picked up the phone .. bad experience

I booked two rooms and one room is standard size. The other one is too small. We can't keep the bags. And both of them the showers are too narrow-14 inches wide. And the shower curtain is lying on our body during showers. Very bad experience. But the common kitchen is good.

There was no staff at the property and no one answered the phone when I tried contacting them regarding a problem. Their lobby sign said to use the phone they provided to call but there was NO PHONE. To top it off, the next day our room was double booked and I had to help those people to figure out how to call them. They actually spoke to someone though.

Basic clean room with small en-suite bathroom. Large communal lounge/rec-room/kitchen area with refrigerator, kettle, a couple of hotplates and a microwave. TV. Awesome views of the glacier. An easy 30 minute drive to Vik. There are a couple of cafes nearby but we didn’t investigate those, just saw the signs. The reason I said the staff is terrible is that there aren’t any. You have to call ahead for the room number and lockbox code. Nobody answered so if there had not been a cleaner onsite who helped us to get in touch with the property manager we would not have been able to get into our rooms!!!

Checking in was a nightmare. They tell you to call a number but no one answers. So many guests were waiting in the parking lot, while we were there. We waited for an hour to get in. Once in, the room smelled musty. The radiator wasn't hooked up or capped. We turned it on by accident and water poured out onto the electric radiator right next to it. Then the hair dryed was on the floor behind the toilet. Besides being gross, another fire hazard.

Mother - Daughter vacation.

This Guesthouse is for single travelers who are on a very tight budget. Looks like a college dormitory. Room was extremely tight and you can hear everyone else in the house come in and out. The room and bathroom were perfectly clean. Checking in and out was very easy. Great place if you just want a plave to bathe and sleep.
