I was ready to check out at 6:30 am, and nobody was in the office. I called the number on the door. The man who answered the phone, said someone will be there at the office at 10:00 am. I am traveling. Time is an essence. What kind of a place is this. Nobody to look after the property, or guess needs.

This is a great place to stay if you are planning a visit to Taos. Everything is updated. We stayed here two years ago when the owners were just starting renovations. Great price.

When we got to the hotel, I was charged more than a $50 deposit and no one could tell me why. There was no hot water in the water pressure or shower was not even existent when we called the front desk. They said someone would be there in 30 to 45 minutes to fix our issue. No one ever showed up.

Like if someone wanted to make chic an old motel but didn't know how to do it. Toilet/shower separated from vanity by a fabric curtain, but the vanity is completely open to the rest of the room! Cheap window shades don't fit window properly, so light entered the room all night. Staff got exasperated with me when I asked where the room coffee was- who knew it would be in an armoire? Parking is in 3 rows, so beware negotiating to your space in front of your room. A/C unit load as a freight train. Bring an eye mask and ear plugs.
