They cut the water off 3 hours before my check out. I had to check out early, drive across town, and pay to park so I could take a shower at my son’s apartment. The hotel itself is usually nice- quiet and clean and comfortable-, but the front desk staff is not very welcoming. One male employee helped me with the parking app, but that was the only person who even bothered to speak to me when checking in (other than to ask for my credit card).

The hotel is super nice except when I woke up this morning there was absolutely no water running in the entire hotel. No shower capability, no sink water, nothing. I found out later that it was a scheduled water shut off and there was no communication at the booking of the hotel or prior to check-in. Even at checking into the hotel, no staff mentioned anything about it. There was no discount. I would have absolutely stayed somewhere else had I known. They took the reservation and money and never said a word about the water being scheduled off from the hotel or Expedia.

We arrived to check in and were told the hotel would have no water starting at 8am the next morning, until 4pm. I am very disappointed we had no advanced warning of this and the best the front desk could do was say they are sorry. After contemplating not checking in and finding another hotel, they offered to validate our parking. That’s it. It was late so we ended up staying and will just get moving way earlier than planned.

This is the second time we stayed here. It has become a Christmas tradition for me and my spouse. We would like to come every year. The room is very clean, neat and lovely. We usually have a view of the lake which is nice. Coffee in the AM is an extra treat. The staff at the front desk is always helpful. The only thing I noticed this time was a charge for the parking. That was new and unexpected. Not sure why that changed. All else was wonderful!
