The key to this hotel is the location in the heart of downtown Durham. It was a quick Uber ride for us to go anywhere, including the Duke game at Cameron Indoor Arena. Lots of good places to eat nearby. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was large and suited our needs. We enjoyed our stay and would happily return to The Durham Hotel.

Outstanding staff - professional, polite and welcoming. The hotel is in a wonderful location, a short walk from some of the best restaurants in Durham. The hotel lobby which serves as a dining area was packed on the holiday. Very clean, comfortable rooms; locally sourced toiletries and plenty of hot water. What a wonderful stay! The valet at checkin was extremely courteous and helpful with our bags as we checked in. The front desk gave us great dinner recommendations within walking distance. The coffee bar made excellent drinks for after dinner, and we had coffee bean service arrive by our door in the morning. We definitely chose the right place for our stay.
