The room was clean for the most part. Not sure though if all bedding was washed as the comforter on one of the beds had a small blood stain on the comforter. I recommend requesting new bedding upon arrival. Some parts of the bathroom near the shower could have used some light repair, also water didn’t drain fast. The fridge seemed to not stay on consistently you have a push a button inside to turn it back on, but chilled everything fine when on (only the shelve part, the fridge door did not cool drinks). Other than those things though it is not bad at all for the 2 nights we stayed. Would recommend them for short stays especially if attending an event at Carter Finely stadium.

Room was not ready upon arrival after posted check-in time. Compensation was not offered. Many excuses made about being sold out. Completely unacceptable shower conditions. The water was not draining at all and rose to mid-calf level during showering. Very unhygienic. Many holes in the walls.

Airport Shuttle- no support

I all honesty the airport shuttle was awful when we checked in. We asked the front desk how to use the shuttle because we had to drop off a rental car first. We were told to turn the car in and get a shuttle ride to the airport, then call a number the front desk gave us to have the hotel shuttle pick us up. We did everything, but when we called the number the front desk gave us, no one answered, then we were forwarded to another number that told us there was no shuttle, but we had seen the shuttle running earlier. We finally had to get an uber back to the hotel. The next morning, the shuttle to the airport was awesome.

We didn’t have free breakfast as stated on the website: “From the moment you arrive, Sonesta ES Suites Raleigh Durham Airport Morrisville makes you feel right at home with free breakfast including fresh coffee and a variety of offerings.” There was a cost for all but coffee. While the coffee was Starbucks, there was no creamer available that wasn’t flavored! The staff at night was lovely but not so much during the daytime. All the doors were jammed such that one needed muscle to get in/out. We will not return.

When we arrive staff was a bit rude, then another lady help when we get to the room the shower was clogged i informed to a employee we left and we come back still not done when a reported again and finally they fix it and was a group of teenagers imon the floor was also noisy unfortunately...

Staff were great. The room itself was very clean and nicely appointed. The balcony was a nice touch. Super close to the airport so it’s a great location if you’re passing through or waiting on a next day flight. Thinnest walls I’ve ever experienced though. I could clearly hear everything going on in the rooms on either side of me including some innocuous stuff like snoring. There were some kids running up and down the hallways the whole time too which was really annoying. Not really a walkable area either although easy enough to get things delivered. Overall a decent hotel for the price, but it’s got some drawbacks that aren’t in control of the staff.
