I've used this hotel for animazement, Supercon and Galaxycon. The rooms are well kept, staff are friendly and helpful, and the parking is a time saver. The convenience of being able to walk right next door to the convention center can't be overstated. It's close enough to be in the middle of the fun but far enough away to get away and take a break when you need it without having to drive. This has been our go-to hotel for years.

My stay at the Residence Inn Raleigh Downtown was amazing. I stayed 9 nights and loved it. The room was extremely clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was always great with many options to choose from. The staff at this property are super friendly and helpful. The location is also great and within walking distance to many restaurants and shops. I will definitely stay here again when in Raleigh.

Check-in was extremely easy except for the fact that if you want to park in the garage that is right next to the hotel, you have to pay $22 extra. The room was extremely spacious and comfortable, but housekeeping could have done a better job with respect to what they are suppose to do. The only good part about breakfast was the coffee, really good. the rest of the food was way below par, unless you like to eat the same cereal everyday. The onsite restaurant's were very good, limited selection, but convenient after a long day. Overall not a bad place to stay and right next door to the convention center.
