      Overall my stay was pleasant. I had not stayed at a Hyatt Place in a while and my experience did not live up to what I remember. The good things: The bed was comfy, the sheets & towels were clean. The design of the room allowed for a sizable couch, desk, and small cabinet for a mini-fridge and a coffee maker. There were options available in case you forgot something (like I I did). The staff was very friendly across all shifts. The opportunities for improvement: The options in the pantry were minimal (I left the property for snacks and drinks). The general feeling of the room was bare and not welcoming (this is hard to describe). The furniture in the room appeared to be over used (several nicks and scratches on surfaces) and could use updating. The TV remote partially worked (power button did not function, Vol and Ch did!). The coffee machine in the room required several passes to get the gunk out of it. The logistics of items for breakfast were placed inconveniently. For example, the breakfast area did not have coffee (or juice) in the vicinity... you had to go to the lobby to get coffee. The layout of the items at the coffee bar were oddly placed (to explain this you'd have to try to make a cup of coffee and you'd find yourself bouncing between the cups, the sweetener, the lids, the creamer... and if there more than yourself at the coffee bar, you would be crossing arms and bumping into each other). Some attention to the client experience to make it top notch.
