I am formally requesting a refund for my recent stay due to multiple unacceptable issues that significantly impacted my experience. Upon arrival, my room had a strong mildew odor that appeared to be masked with heavy cleaning spray. This is not an acceptable condition for a guest room. Unfortunately, I had dinner reservations shortly after check-in and did not have time to request an immediate room change. The following morning at 7:00 AM, the fire alarm sounded continuously for at least 30 minutes. There was no communication to guests about whether there was an actual emergency, and it appeared staff did not know how to shut the system off. I attempted to contact the front desk during this time and received no answer. My rest was completely disrupted, which was especially concerning as I had a two-hour drive home and specifically booked this stay for comfort and relaxation. Additionally, after using valet service, my car outlet adapter and charger were missing. I reported this to management and was told I would receive a follow-up call, which never occurred. I was forced to replace these items at my own expense. Given the condition of the room, the mishandling of the alarm situation, the lack of responsiveness from staff, and the missing personal property, this stay fell far below reasonable hospitality standards. I am requesting a full refund for the night as well as reimbursement for the stolen items. I expect a prompt response and resolution.

Room was clean other than pet hair on couch. We also noted dog yelping in another room (audible in our room) and dog drool in the elevator. I really wish they would have a "pet free area" of the hotel. Otherwise this would have been a five star stay.

Team was great, there was a small issue with my room being ready and they quickly offered for me to sit at the bar and have a drink. Everyone was friendly! Only cons were the room was very noisy with outside sounds, and the blinds didnt block as much light as I would hope. Small suggestion but a bottle of water or two in the room would be a big perk. I do also need an itemized receipt and was told at checkout they cant print it since I booked through hotels.com it would be emailed. I have not received that yet and will need one.
