I booked the room for my wife and when she arrived she was placed in a room with no heat. The front desk attendant told her the room was cold because heat rises and the rooms on the bottom were colder. He then gave her a blanket, made no offer to move her to a different room and said there was nothing else he could do because maint would not be back until the next morning. When she attempted to check out early and have the money returned to my card for the second night, she was told the manager would have to approve it and she was on vacation for another week. After the exchange concerning the lack of heat in her room, the front desk attendant told her the Fairfield Inn, right across from them, was a cheaper hotel but had better amenities.
