Not your typical courtyard Marriott experience. Waited 7 minutes just waiting for someone to show up to the front desk just to check in. Had to resort to calling the darn place to have the phone ring about 100 times when a groggy laggard finally showed. Didn’t offer me any upgrades for Bonvoy Gold Elite status and forgot to give me the welcome back. The room was very basic with a tiny wash basin area outside of the shower room and the beds are more of full size than queen size. There is a stench of old hotel vibe in the hall way and in the room. My room also had about 4 lady bugs. Don’t know why. The common areas are ok. This isn’t a Courtyard. It shouldn’t be. At the next Marriott’s Quality Assurance, I’ll make sure to get someone at Marriott issues a deficiency report.

The ladies personal are not kind but rough. The ones at the deli are so nice, both the bilingual and the tall thin one. But both at the front desk need to improve on the public. No one told us we had to request the room cleaning, so we requested after the first day without it and had to request twice same day. Finally done at 3 pm with bad attention from front desk(rough), no apologies and bad face. I had to request later, body wash(empty) and toilet paper (only two and about to finish), and kleenex which was empty. The worst is the bad attention .

1. Arrived at 11:45pm and doors to hotel automatically open and no one at front desk. Additionally no hotel key fob is needed to operate the elevator. 2. Third floor smelled like cigarette smoke the entire time of my stay although listed as non smoking floor. 3. Dirty plates by communal microwave/ice machine stayed there my entire stay. 4. Can’t you Apple Pay for water nor is bottle water offered for free in your room. Must consistently carry your card or charge to room. 5. Communal water looks like it’s just refilled but never actually cleaned. Visible film on inside of dispenser. 6. Fire alarm rang at 4am for 5minutes straight. Not one announcement. No one to call to apologize or say false alarm. There was also a dip in the floor in the room I stayed in. I only stayed for two days and decided to check out.

Kenya the bartender and server was amazing...best part of our stay. Otherwise, there were opportunities. First night, an alarm went off at 5 a.m....a "system reset"...scared us to death. We also stayed on 3rd floor and lots of noise late night and early morning from the room above us on 4th floor...not conducive to a good night's sleep at all.
