This was the perfect place to unwind! No frills but had everything we needed except the Wi-fi was spotty. The hosts were so kind and accommodating. We got to snuggle some newborn puppies, had firewood delivered to us at the fire pit and came home w farm fresh eggs. Great little get away!

It was a perfect place to stay to visit Dino State Park and spend some time in Glen Rose. The hosts were extremely nice and flexible. He drove by the cabin one evening and gave us some farm fresh eggs!

It was exactly what we were looking for, peaceful, quiet and very close to the river. We had the river all to ourselves! The Myers are great hosts, very friendly and close by. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful Stay in a perfect cabin!

The name of the cabin, Hillside, definitely fit the description. This perfect cabin was on the hillside going up to the top of the hill. We were secluded enough to enjoy the tranquility, but too secluded to know the property managers were looking out for us. The property managers did not over promise but met our expectations regarding the property perfectly!

Rustic cabin in Dino land

The rustic Hillside cabin is located a few miles off the beaten path, yet close enough to Glen Rose to easily drive to nearby attractions. Upon arrival, the cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The hosts were kind and easy to communicate with. The setting is serene and peaceful. One thing to be aware of is that the cabin is a bit small - it is not spacious on the inside but there is plenty of room to explore outside. We had a lovely time.

Great little cabin in Rainbow

We went to the area for spring break to visit Dinosaur Valley State Park. We chose this little cabin for our family as it was just the right size for us and our two boys. The accommodations were nice. It worked well for us as it was a place to stay, cook, and shower. We enjoyed the fire pit and a hike up the hill to the swings. Overall, this property worked for what we needed for an our short stay for spring break. Suggestions: We brought items to grill but the gas grill wasn’t usable as it was missing the heat plates to distribute the flame. We used the oven instead.

Place had smell at first not sure if musty or whatWiFi listed but didn’t work. Even the Tv kept buffering. Had Cell Phone svc but not Internet. Lake cabin type feel /decor. Has what you need but not upscale Pan was dirty. Found old waffles still in toaster. Needs hooks or shelf with hooks in bedroomNeed small table on other side of bed (for eye glasses/etc) Thank you for the farm fresh eggs.

Cozy cabin tucked in the country

Clean cabin area for a couple or small family get away. Fully functional kitchen with utensils and cookware. Even has a washer and dryer that can be used on the property. Included soap and shampoo for showers as well as a great interary for guiding you on the property and location of summer activities activities

Grands enjoyed the adventure

Short trip with grands who thoroughly enjoyed the area. Rocks, river, dinosaurs. Convenient to activities but secluded and quiet for down time. We didn't cook, other than hot dog on the fire pit so kitchenwas fine for coffee and snacks. A little confusion at check in but no big deal and all handled well. thanks!

We enjoyed our time at the cabin. It was very peaceful and tranquil. It was clean and nice. The only thing that went wrong was the ceiling fan and light in the bedroom did not work. other than, it was very pleasant.

Best 4 day Mini Vacation

We enjoyed our little cozy cabin. Was very clean and had great water pressure .Bed was very comfortable and air conditioner was very cold considering it was extremely hot outside.We went to river on the property hunting for cool river rocks also my husband went fishing he had fun.We really enjoyed visiting with Mr Stan he was so nice and even brought us fresh eggs. We will definitely be back during cooler months next time..
