Alma Vida was an amazing place to stay during our visit to Manuel Antonio/Quepos. The property and grounds were gorgeous and they had three beautiful pools. Breakfast was included, which we got every morning and was really good. It is also really close to a lot of restaurants, bars, and shops, which you can walk to. We also saw a lot of animals on the property, including iguanas, agoutis, and monkeys.

What a lovely hotel! It was an unforgettable experience. From our patio, we saw so many birds, lizards, monkeys - it felt like we were living in the forest. Our room was on top of the hill and we had a beautiful view. The rooms were clean, spacious and well equipped. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. It was very convenient to have the restaurant on campus. The location is walkable to grocery stores, ATMs, the beach, etc. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

Room is clean but dated. We stayed in a larger room with mini kitchen. Staff were all friendly. Location is perfect. Quite a few restaurants to choose from. Close to the beach. There’s a bus close to the hotel that runs every 15 minutes. Lots of monkeys early in the morning. Lots of stairs which all reviews state.

Older hotel with a nice setting in a prime location. Facilities were a little dated but some might consider this part of the "charm". Staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed in a Family Room which was well sized for our family of 4. A couple things would make it more functional: (a) Mini-fridge -- there's no way to keep any of your own drinks/food cold, (b) Shelving/storage -- besides the floor there are few places for 4 people to put their things.
