Everything was good except few things. One is they didn’t provide microwave in the room white felt awkward because I had to microwave my food from outside side such as from gas station and coffee shop. They should put just one microwave in a room. I know it’s about hygiene but if a customer would like to stya for few days , it would be fine. And another is tv. There was not much channels on a tv. Not even you tube. Which found a bit funny. Because I was staying in a macanzie motel located in a Fairlie, they have a you tube in a tv. And here, nothing. I was not watching tv because of that.

Pros: Staff were super friendly, gorgeous views surrounding the property, bowling alley at the property for added fun, good location (directly across from Onsen Spa, close to Coronet Peak), free parking on site (can get a bit busy), cute restaurants across from the property Cons: Aged property which made it feel a bit unclean, food at the property was not great, could hear quite a lot (we were in a room directly next to the stairs which made the noise levels even worse)

Tired, basic and dodgy plumbing

Lovely greeting and service at reception but pretty downhill from there. The property is seriously dated (circa 1980s), and in desparate need of updating. Original fake wood panels, a heater that sounded like it was about to take off, really weak shower over the bath. The bathroom sink was blocked so the water barely drained and when it did, it kind of bubbled up and was giving off a pretty awful smell. Beds were mostly comfortable but the 2 mattresses joined in the middle was not great. Clean i guess (blocked sink aside) but hard to keep old wallpaper and 80s tiles sparkling. Given its location and the hotel brand i was hoping for better and wouldnt rush back or recommend

Good location

The place is fantastically situated if visiting Coronet peak. It is clean and about 20 mins from Queenstown city centre as well. The room service is not up to the mark. The team had to be reminded a couple of times and when the room was serviced the tea, milk and coffee and other amenities had not been replenished. On the last day, there was no hot water available and this was not promptly attended to. A flimsy excuse was given that maybe a number of guests had showered in the morning and hence there was no hot water. We ended up having a cold shower because we had to leave which was bot a good experience in the middle of winter. No compensation for the lack of service was offerred.
