The room is smelly. I regret that I didn't read the google reviews carefully before booking. It's a terrible idea to use charcoal cork as wall lining. I double it has been ever cleaned since installation. The material definitely absorb odours and who knows what. I strongly suggest the hotel add a bedhead board at least for sanitation

This property is beyond its use by date. The very 1980’s decor is very very tired. The room we had was a shocker. The wall had what looked like bullet holes in The concrete (obviously it wasn’t but that is what it looked like) the beds were about 35cms from the ground which made getting out out them difficult. The 2 sling back chairs were very very uncomfortable . No TV!! The toilet ran all night. The only redeeming g feature of this place was the two hat restaurant which was amazing. Best advice from us, stay somewhere else but Definately go to the restaurant

A beautiful quiet spot just outside the city center. The Mountain View suite was plenty of room for our family of 4 & very comfortable. Our favourite stay of the trip. Breakfast daily here was lovely & the staff our whole stay were attentive, kind & helpful. Would definitely recommend this spot & perfect for families.

The Sherwood was amazing big time into sustainability & the hotel has an amazing restaurant has a 2 hat rating, you certainly cant fault the food. My husband & I stayed 3 nights, the staff are amazing & very helpful nothing was a problem. Not all rooms have a TV but clean & inviting, no electric blankets but speak to staff at reception & they'll help you out with a hottie

This hotel is excellent for a family of five as there are enough beds in one room for everyone. The room decor is really cute and it’s very handy having a small kitchenette. We also loved the outdoor fireplace - this was the highlight of our stay and would keep us coming back! Food is excellent too. Can see why the restaurant is always busy! If there was one thing that was a negative it is that the room had an old body / hair smell. I understand they are keeping it eco friendly which I love! But an easy fix is to light some Palo Santo sticks. Overall would definitely return!
