Clean, spacious, and comfortable room with all the amenities needed to relax after a day of exploring. I especially loved having access to the soak tub as part of our stay. I also dined at Nest - the set menu was excellent. The lake views are absolutely stunning!

My daughter and I were travelling through Queenstown and stayed three nights at the Kamana Lakehouse. The hotel was beautiful and the views of the lake were outstanding. The service was great as well. I understand some people were not happy about the parking lot views and the construction but that does not bother me. The only reason I gave four stars on service is because there should be more options for breakfast. The dinner was excellent along with the wine. Breakfast was a set menu but it would be best if there were some quick fruit and continental options when timing is tight for travelers and activities that get planned during the day. There is nothing near to go to unless you go to town so if you do not have time for a full sit down breakfast, you are a bit out of luck. That would be my only complaint otherwise, everything was lovely.

This property was amazing with great views. A soak experience comes with your stay but book it early. Parking is on site. It is located on a hill so walking back from town may be challenging for some. Many local tour companies pick-up at this location. The on-site restaurant "Nest" also has an amazing lake view and good menu although we did not eat there as we had other plans. The lounge is cozy with friendly staff and a great food menu as well. We would return here again.

Pros: lovely view from a Lakeview room but no real privacy if it’s close to the restaurant; modern room and bathroom; Nespresso pods if you like pod coffee. Cons: $45 for the breakfast package they offer; terrible queen size bed (too soft) as it’s two twin beds that dip in the middle; construction in front of the Lakeview rooms but luckily no obstruction to the beautiful view. Recommendation would be to book the hot soak well in advance.

After staying, certainly agree with other reviews stating this is not as presented online and wildly overpriced. The pictures are very misleading, the staff is not professional, parking is not guaranteed and when we arrived our room’s AC must have been left off for the day. It took hours for the temperature to be comfortable and we had to keep the room door and sliding door open for two hours. I recommend staying elsewhere.
