The staff was very kind and you can see that working very hard to keep up with the place. The room was a little bit dated, but finally appointed with everything that was needed. It was very blue when I was there, and they had fans to help. Keep the place a bit cooler at night. The location is good as you can walk to the downtown.. A pretty good location overall

The stairs going to the apartment had no railing to hold onto and did not feel safe. We were so thankful for the staff who carried our luggage to the top. The cleaning staff were excellent and courteous. It was very convenient to the town centre and close to bus stop.

Beware, the reviews on this place are extremely misleading. The room was filthy to the point of being a health hazard. There was plainly visible black mold in the corners and all over the bedroom curtain, the carpet was separating and peeling up from the floor, the bathroom had visible signs of rot and water damage all over it, and there was just a generally terrible smell throughout. I am fairly certain all the cleaning staff do is change out the linens. After discovering all the issues, we decided to demand a refund and find somewhere else to stay. The "manager" (who apparently hadn't been there in 3 weeks) offered another unit, but it was honestly so vile that we pushed for a refund. He eventually accepted, however it has been nearly 3 weeks and I still have not received it. Avoid at all costs.

This motel was not too far from the central shopping area. We were able to walk around. The room was large and clean, although the decor was beginning to show some wear and tear. The bathroom was large with shower in the bath. The step into and out of the bath was quite big. Good towels and toiletries. Parking was good.

Overall a good stay. Spacious and clean apartments. It was in a good location so was easy to walk into town centre. Our only issue was the parking situation. Even though it was advertised to include parking, the parking was not regulated so either they did not have sufficient parking spots for each apartment or some apartments had multiple cars which used up all the parking spots. This meant for one of our nights, we did not have a parking spot and it was not easy to find off-street parking.

Wow! Honestly felt like we were back in a rundown student flat.....Our room had a terrible musty smell & looked like mould down some of the walls. The carpet was very badly stained & the couch had a hole in it. Neither the extractor fan in the kitchen nor the bathroom worked. Part of the wall next to the shower was visibly rotten & the bathroom floor was tacky & looked like it hadn't been cleaned in quite some time. Worse than all of this though was that the panel heaters in both the bedroom & the lounge were not working & it looked like the power points/switches on the walls had actually been melted! An absolute fire hazard!! Informed reception of all of this & let them know that the heaters need the plugs cut off immediately so they can't be plugged in & an electrician called. Will also be reporting to the Queenstown & Lakes District Council.
