Staff were quick, polite and attentive, however the room was quite dated and did not come close to a Premier Inn equivalent of the same price. The shower tray was cracked and didn't drain if the shower was on full, and the shower door did not fully close. The bed was only a double and a bit uncomfortable due to the sprung mattress. The room and property however were clean and despite the location next to the A13 / M25 junction, it was supprisingly quiet.

Great stay as always

This is my regular go to hotel when visiting Essex/London. Very easy to get to, just off the M25 and very close to Lakeside Shopping Centre. There is plenty of parking. Check in is quick. Rooms are spacious and clean with a well stocked complimentary tea tray and complimentary toiletries. Bed is comfortable and shower is great. Staff are all very nice and friendly, especially Donna, Kirsty, Jamie and Theresa who always make you feel like a friend more than a guest. Will definitely be back again soon.

Not a disabled friendly hotel but staff were good

I was staying at the hotel to attend a family function. One in my party was my mother who is disabled. I am disappointed that no-one from the hotel replied back to an email I had sent them for a room with limited stair climbing. They don't have a lift. We had arrived late after a tiring 5 hour journey, checked in only to find out they allocated a 2nd floor room which mean't asking a disabled person to walk 2 steep flight of stairs which is not acceptable. Teresa was a massive help and adjusted the room allocation for my mother to stay on the 1st floor. A big shout there - thank you. Jamie was a massive help also for accomodating requests late in the evening. A big shout here too - thank you.

This hotel isnt fit for purpose. Hotel is clearly old and in much need of a complete refurb or even better still, knock it down! Abandoned football ground next door completely derelict and area doesnt exactly feel safe as signs all in car parks warning of crime. You couldnt pay me yo stay in this place again! Expedia, I would take this off your list now as the photos you've used dont show this hotel in its true light.

Very noisy about the floor. I can hear clearly who is going to this floor and everybody shut the door. The pictures when I reserved this hotel is not match in real. Very dark in my room. Very disappointed.

Had to call a number on arrival as there was no one at reception when i arrived during the day. My room had everything i needed including a fan as my room was hot. There was a horrible odour in my room which smelt like cigarettes and the bathroom smelt of drains. The bed was comfortable and i slept well. Unfortunately i woke to lots of insect bites.

Ok hotel if you don’t like good service or helpful

I had to call reception at 9.20 as suddenly a smell of a drug was coming into my room. The receptionist said she would come and investigate as I believed it to be coming from the room next door.
