Beach was amazing. Clear blue waters and areas you can snorkel and see fish. Cute bungalow home with large bed. Food was great - Recommend booking at Atlantis. Yudelka was available from the first day. I dont stay at places twice, but I would stay Viva again. 10/10

My husband is in the ICU now and has been sick for 8 days now with throwing up and diarrhea! Yesterday his stool culture came back with salmonella poisoning! He is extremely dehydrated and has low sodium which can be life threatening. We left Viva Dominicus on Wed June 17,2026 and that’s when his sickness started. He ate his last meal at restaurant 25 and at the fish fillet. This ruined the rest of our vacation and put my husbands life in danger. We went to Viva Samana for the rest of our trip and the doctor there didn’t seem to care. The local pharmacy and resort pharmacy didn’t carry anything to help. Viva Samana was much nicer staff and seemed to be a bit cleaner since it is smaller. Glad we weren’t there during the fire, but beware of the food if you don’t want to end up in the ER and the ICU that will be costing us so much now!

I love this resort. It was the second time we have stayed here. I love the great beach, the people, the food, and the comfortable courtyard area. The only problem was the long time it took to check out of the property.
