At the beggining of the stay people that work will set a day to go for a breakfast and show yoy around the complex of Palladium, but is a BIG scam. At first they say that is a 90mins showing us around and the time of the breakfast is included. Therefore it should be quick. But instead it was 3hours, we ate our breakfast with an stranger that works there, and it was just to buy nights of stay. When we said no they keep on asking why not.... We stand for our desicion so they let us go, that is when they stopped beign formal with us. What a Scam, please inform people first and dont lie to them. I was there a for a short vacation and lost 3hours of my time.

But what truly elevated our stay was the extraordinary service provided by our assigned butler. Our butler was not only attentive but genuinely committed to making every detail of our visit flawless. From securing reservations at the resort’s most exclusive restaurants (Helios was a standout!) to surprising us with personalized touches in our room, their presence was the definition of comfort and luxury. Always available, always courteous, and with deep knowledge of the hotel, they helped us make the most of every corner of TRS. We were given Butler services during our stay. Our Butler name was Norielis. She was truly amazing!! We were on our honeymoon and she surprised us with champagne chocolate a bubble bath drawn and ready. She contacted us daily and responded to all our requests going above and beyond. So many things to thank Norielis for dinner reservations to name one. We would not have been able to do as many things or have as many experiences without her help! While the resort is top notch; she raises the experience!!!

You needed to take golf type shuttles everywhere, some places were hard to get a shuttle. The ocean beach had a bad odor which made it difficult to lay on the beach plus there was seaweed everywhere. Rooms were clean and Butler was attentive. Housekeeping was great also.

The stay was amazing but you were consistently bombarded by staff who wanted you to join their club and we spent almost a full day at their travel club because they wanted us to sign us up. Everything was amazing except for this sales and making us sign up for this club. We were not impressed and felt super pressured.

Overall, it was a beautiful resort. A lot of greenery, and the rooms were very descent, a little outdated but cute. We didn’t have a very good experience with food. It was ok sometimes and really bad some other times. The worse food we had was at the Steakhouse “El Dorado” and “Helios”. The buffets were ok but there were a lot of flies on the food and flying around so it was a little unpleasant to get the food to eat. The best food we had was at Kusko, a Peruvian restaurant. It was so delicious! I even called the cook to come to our table to congratulate her because the food was phenomenal. The only complaint could be the “suspiro limeño” dessert. It was too sweet and too dense. The Japanese Restaurant was good too and it was super fun! The butler Edward was amazing. He helped with all the reservations and everything we needed in general. He was very nice and spoke English! He was very nice and understanding. The beach stunk really bad due to all the seaweed. There wasn’t a lot of seaweed because they cleaned it but it was stinky. We didn’t go to in the water at the beach. We did go in the water when we when on a party boat expedition. We snorkel and it was super fun!

So leading up to our trip in early September, I read a ton of reviews to hear about the positives and negatives. Some of the negatives include the gym, the beach, people bugging you about buying stuff, hard beds, terrible food, etc. Here was our honest experience: The property was well maintained, even for what they consider the "low season". If you don't want to be bugged at check in with the time share people, simply say no thank you to any tours or breakfasts that they are offering for free. We booked a Junior Swim Up Suite, trust me, pay the extra money and book it, you will not regret it. The room was clean, well maintained and I slept great every night, no complaints with the AC or bed. Our butler, Norieles(Nori for short) was amazing, very responsive and took care of us during our stay. The food was mostly good, our only less than pleasant experience was the French Restaurant. Our favorite was definitely El Dorado Steak House, ate there twice. No problem with kids being on the adult side of the resort. The seaweed problem during our stay was minimal, they did a good job of cleaning it up and anything in the water didn't stop us from getting in. Take the beach vendors with a grain of salt, if they offer you tours, hair braiding, pics with iguana's or parrots, just politely say no thank you, it's that easy. Down the beach less than a hundred yards are some shops that sell souveniers, liquor, cigars, etc. It's cheaper than the resort shops. Overall a great stay.
