Food was horrible. I've been to many all inclusive resorts - this one had the worst food ever. I notice they don't have a separate rating for food. We stayed 5 days. We had no hot water for 2 days. No air conditioning/electricity for 2 days. No Wifi or TV twice. Management offered apologies, but no partial refunds or any type of offset. Had to get to the beach by 7:00 to reserve chairs (I hate that!). Local people hawking their wears and hanging at the beach with constant chatter and banter back and forth which didn't make for a very peaceful time on the beach. The house cabernet\ wine was very good. The staff was very pleasant. I don't recommend this resort and have no idea how they received such high ratings. Please read reviews before booking.

Upon arrival to the TRS resort, there was NO power! It was super hot, & no explanation was even given. The representative just checked me in as if it was routine to do in the dark. I mentioned how hot I was, I was sweating profusely, she never mentioned there was NO POWER! I found out from the person who took me to my room! There’s no power. I couldn’t even take a shower right away, bc there was NO WATER during the outage which lasted approx. 2hrs. Then there was NO hot water on the 1st & 3rd day. The room size was pretty nice, my view was pretty nice. I had a nice balcony. However the rooms are dated in that there is not enough outlets, I had to unplug the bedside lamps in order to charge my phone & my watch. I had to slam my door closed . I thought the resort definitely should have nightly entertainment & more than one thing at a time going on. I understand that it’s an adult’s only resort which is great however, adult does not mean senior citizen. Don’t want to be active just sitting by the pool. We need music we need activities. We need things going on to keep us busy at the resort like a lot of resorts that I have been to this resort I thought was a bit slow or four the elderly. All the staff that I interacted with was really kind, helpful, friendly so that was something that was really great there at the resort I think they should keep the bar better stocked. I wanted a mini beer. I couldn’t even get a mini beer because they did not have the liquor for it.

This is my first review in a long time and I must say the staff in this hotel was AMAZING… I am Dominican and u stayed in plenty hotel by far the best when it comes to staff even the staff by the pool so respectfully. I had a few issues with some stuff but over all amazing staff.. now my room lol the bathroom shower wasn’t working but they fixed it. While I was on the balcony and I was holding on to the rail and it broke and I fell on my bottom hard. Another thing the light on the balcony stayed on allllll night everyday that was annoying. But I loved them made feel welcomed. Even the drivers lol

We did not use the main pool just the area at our swim up. Housekeeping, pool up keep, bar service excellent. Sadly the meals and service were hit and miss, Edward our butler was ver attentive but we would have preferred a daily in person visit as well as the couple of daily text checking. He did make a visit on our anniversary with cake and champagne which was amazing.

We went on our honeymoon trip! We had a great time! The steakhouse was excellent! Our butler Randy was awesome! Always was checking in with us and sending us stuff to do everyday. Perfect week perfect weather!
