My premium room with a pool, I have big roaches in my room almost everyday. Report it to the front desk and told me the all rooms in the first floor have roaches. Very disappointed

This is the second time I stayed in this hotel first time in the adults only section. The amenities, pools, room, services and staff where wonderful! The VIP 500 credits I received where poor I was not able to use any as they where broken down in section and prices. The prices for some of the things where a bit too high.

Our room and the resort grounds were very nice and enjoyable. The food at the specialty restaurants was good and our favorite was the steak house. The buffet food was horrible and unacceptable. It would probably be shut down by health inspection in the US. When making the reservation on Expedia it said it included a resort credit but it is not really a resort credit it’s just a discount on a list of upgrades, services and purchases at the resort.

The maintenance department was horrible, my tv needed fixing the first night and it took the 3 hrs to get to my room, the second night the same thing but it took 1 1/2 to come fix it and the third night the guy came and I explained that I have been watching movies in English all week and ABC but all of a sudden tonight nothing is on English and channel ABC isn’t on. The supervisor argues with me saying they don’t get that channel and I explain that I’ve watched it every night that week and he says I must be mistaken over and over. He was unprofessional and condescending. And another issue was a man from the dinner service kept yelling and stomping his feet at one of the cats that would come in during dinner after the second time I made sure and let him know it was unnecessary behavior and they live there too !!

The property, although it is not that old, seemed to be very run down. Maintenance issues included leaking pipes "fixed" by a towel and tape wrapped around it (water leaking from pipe through the molded ceiling times onto the toilet in our room), mold, broken shower fixtures, in operatable mini fridge, exteriors of buildings in poor shape, "wood" finishes on doors and hallways peeling. Holes in walls and missing trim pieces. Dirty pools with trash all around. Dirty towels for both bath and pool. But, with all the maintenance and cleaning issues aside- our interaction with staff was mostly good and the food was good at all restaurants.

Great services, they play bachata , merengue, salsa , all type of music the way you can enjoy the night . Food was good , service excellent. The beach wasn’t the greatest but it was ok , the rest was excellent
