The room is very clean and the staff is very friendly. Beware that the snacks and drinks included in room (free) are having expiry dates very close (expiring the next month) or two chips were actually expired (by 5 days) at the time we stayed, so please check carefully before you eat/drink.

Prior to arriving we did the digital check in believing that this would alleviate our arrival. Upon arrival we were sat in the man area where we waited to be checked in again. They then got out documents and checked us in and said we would have to wait for our room. We then sat outside as we had 4 kids with us and two hours went by and our room still wasn’t ready. No one came and check on us our offered any additional help. Another hour went by and finally one of the employees Emely Burgos said is anyone helping you and we said no and she was able to get us to our room shortly after that. I’m not sure why the check in process couldn’t have been done faster

We had the family concierge swim up suite and highly recommend the extra cost. Having a pool outside your door with kids is great and our concierge Ricardo helped us with daily reservations and schedules. There is also a family check in lounge with snacks and a bar cart. Only complaint would be the music level at night is not that kid friendly. Ours didn’t like being around the band because it’s noisy and then could hear it from the room until about 10:30 pm every night. Kids club and water slide area were also very nice and convenient with constant golf cart service. Also some gaps in food service at beach and before lunch could be filled in with grab and go options besides the chips and candy provided. All in all we really had a nice time!

This hotel was fantastic. Overall it was a great experience and we would highly recommend. 1. Food was overall excellent. For what you would expect at an AI experience, the food was as good as you could ask for. Restaurants all fantastic. The buffet was varied and quality. Little to no complaints about food. Buffet could be warmer, but minor concern. Swim up room - Master Concierge - was absolutely perfect. Huge patio area for us to use exclusively. The room itself was one of the best we've stayed in anywhere. Separate bedroom, bathroom and living room/kitchen was excellent. Pull out couch and 2nd sofa were perfect for kids and we could sit outside and go in/out via bedroom without waking them. One minor issue is that the tile floors are SUPER slippery when wet. After a couple of tumbles by kids we deemed no wetness on tiles and everything wet had to be on the patio. 3. Cleanliness - Perfectly spotless. The room, and entire resort was perfectly clean. 4. Beach - The beach was great, a bit of seaweed washed up but nothing too bad or offensive at all. Tons of people selling things was a drawback. 5. Family Concierge - Fransua was amazingly helpful. Highly recommend the added value. Helped book restaurants, shows, activities and every minor problem was solved ASAP. He was a huge part in making the vacation great. Initial service and check-in left us worried but that was alleviated by Fransua. He created a special birthday party in our room for our 4yo. Just fantastic!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our recent stay at Paradisus Grand Cana was nothing short of extraordinary, and we cannot recommend this resort highly enough. 👶 Family & Kids Experience First and foremost, the way everything was catered to children truly set this resort apart. From the engaging kids club to the water park activities and thoughtfully planned events to the wide variety of food and entertainment options, our daughter was not only included but celebrated. The incredible care provided by Mary, a babysitter who treated our child with warmth and attentiveness, gave us peace of mind and allowed us to relax in ways we rarely can while traveling. 🎩 Concierge Excellence Secondly, we must highlight the phenomenal service from our concierge, Gustavo. He checked in on us tirelessly every few hours, ensuring every detail was handled seamlessly. All of our restaurant and spa activity reservations were taken care of without us lifting a finger. He went above and beyond by decorating our rooms for our friend’s 40th birthday, securing two connected rooms exactly as requested, and even spoiling our 2‑year‑old with personal attention, a handwritten note, toys, and goodies from the kids club. 🌴 Overall Experience As experienced travelers accustomed to high‑level service and luxury resorts, our expectations were already high—but this trip exceeded them in every way.
