We had a great time at Melia Punta Cana Adults only resort. The staff were very helpful and kind and our concierge Kilvania was amazing. The food was great - special call out to the chocolate bomb cake at Mar del Sal! The only constructive comment i would say is they should try to keep their rooms in better repair. In our room the toilet made a dripping sound constantly, the shower door seal was broken and the drawers in the room did not shut properly. They take such great care of their property outside they should turn their attention toward the rooms where guests stay. We would go back again. Please note we were not Level but because we booked with Expedia we had VIP access for check in and a concierge. All in all a great vacation. I recommend this resort to all.

Meliá has given us a very calm and soothing experience with exceptional service from all staff all around from the bartenders to the house cleaning. Everything was amazing. Our only bad thing was that we stayed such little time. I would definitely come back.

The resort was beautiful and the upkeep of the resort was excellent. The option of using the trolley system to move around the resort was appreciated. Loved all the food options, the snack options and the entertainment. There was a good variety of services including mediation on the beach and spa services which we enjoyed both. The resort lived up to the wellness advertised and we loved it was adult adults only

The rudest of staff the room was horrible. You couldn’t turn the lights on in the bathroom unless all the lights went on in the room so if you went to the bathroom in the middle of the night, you had to wake up your partner because the lights had to go on. The room was filthy. It was dark. It was rundown. There was no view. We had to keep calling for towels for washcloths for bath mats for water they did nothing. The worst experience I ever had at a hotel if it was my first time in Punta Cana I would never come back but knowing that I’ve been there five other times at different hotels where it was a completely different experience. I will come back, but never to a Melia again.

We've had the most lovely time we could ever expect as a gay couple. We had a great check in experience with Junior supporting us throughout the whole stay, recommendations, attention to detail in our room, quick fixes where any issue arose if any, help booking restaurants and making sure everyday I was greeted and asked how my day was and if we needed anything. Junior has made our stay an unforgettable one and at any given point we have felt uncomfortable for being a gay couple , he has made sure we were welcomed and treated with respect like everybody else, and these are values we both live for and help us to spread the experience across our connections, family members, friends, coworkers, neighbours etc. The rest of the staff has been very friendly and supportive, making sure we were participating in every activity that was on the day, great chats and warm connections. In all honesty pictures does not make justice but every single person that works at the Resort, they will call you Family and make you feel at home. We are looking forward to visit again soon. 10/10 again for Junior Taveras.

Review of Our Stay at Meliá Punta Cana Hotel & Spa Overall, my recent stay in Punta Cana was a fantastic experience with just a few areas for improvement. The resort’s exterior, pools, bars, restaurants, and grounds were absolutely 5-star—beautifully maintained and truly stunning. The outdoor vibe was everything you’d hope for in a tropical getaway. Inside the room, however, things were a bit less impressive. The furniture and cleanliness were about 4 stars, and the bathroom closer to 3.5 stars. Not a dealbreaker, but definitely room for improvement compared to the rest of the property. The entertainment team—Maria Maria, Gerlyn, and Jefferey “Chocolate Sexy”—were phenomenal, 5 stars all the way, and our concierge Jenika was incredible. They were fun, energetic, and welcoming, making every guest feel included and entertained. They truly elevated the experience. The food was outstanding for an all-inclusive resort. One thing I really appreciated is that they don’t nickel-and-dime you for extras or hit you with confusing charges. Everything is clear and upfront, which makes for a stress-free stay. If you’re not familiar with Meliá Punta Cana, it’s important to know that the resort is split into two distinct areas: • One side has the entertainment and restaurants. • The other side is where the beach and pools are.
