Great pool and beach area. Staff placed our family of 5 in 2 rooms beside each other in a great location on the resort. Cleaning staff were great and went above and beyond. Special shout out to Alexandra! Loved the green space from our room to the pool.

The Majestic Colonial was lovely! We miss it already. The resort facilities were clean and organized, the rooms were very well maintained and spacious, and the beach front was the best of all the ones we walked on that area of the coast line. We spent most of the days by the pool or on the beach, which was perfect for us. The drinks were great and with quick service every time. The food at the resort was above average for an all-inclusive, but definitely not top tier cuisine which I would never expect at an all-inclusive. That said - the Teppanyaki was so fun, the short rib at the French restaurant was the best short rib I’ve had in years, and I am still thinking about the banana cake at the seafood restaurant! We stayed on the club side which was definitely worth it for the private beach area, private pool, not having to carry towel cards, and our butler, Darel! Darel was so helpful and kind, reaching out to check on us regularly, booking spa appointments and dinner reservations, and even helping with a medical need while staying on the property. Highly recommend the Majestic Colonial, and will be super excited to return to see what the upcoming renovations will change about the already great resort!

The staff stood out. All incredibly nice and helpful. You cannot beat the beach there. The pool is always crystal clear and beautiful. Beds are comfy. Shower could use an update. The Mexican restaurant is not good. The restrooms near the restaurant smells so bad. The buffets were great. Japanese was great and fun. Fish and steak was okay but very slow. The drinks were great and flowing.

Not without imperfections and some Dominican quirkiness, but overall a very pleasant and welcomed experience. Food is great, place is kept clean (some of it is aging a bit) and staff is genuinely friendly.

The staff couldn’t do enough for us, especially our butler Alex. She made our stay amazing. I hope we could have her as our butler again when we come back. We felt completely pampered by the staff. The food was good, not amazing. There were certainly something for every taste or picky eater. I think the Dominican food on Dominican night was the best food we had while we were there. The pools at the colonial were incredible!

The Room and the Resort were beautiful, however, all the workers there were not very welcoming or ignored us all together. The food at the buffet was always cold, not very tasty at all. The meats were dry not much flavor. I guess my amazing trip to Cancun Mexico will remain my favorite.

My favorite part of my stay at Majestic Colonial was the staff. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. They made you feel at home. The staff in the restaurants were very attentive, made sure you liked everything, and kept my wine glass full. The entertainment staff was amazing! They want you to have fun and be involved with all of the activities. They helped me to have a great time, especially Hot Chocolate and Panda! Also worth mentioning is the beach. The beach was very clean, the sand was nice, the water was beautiful with no seaweed. I do think that the resort and rooms could use some renovations and updates, as they seem to be a bit old, but overall a great stay.

Our room cleaning service was impeccable...our cleaning lady Francesca is a credit to her profession and an absolute doll! Every employee we interacted with were exceptional...from our Butler Henry who was so incredibly attentative, helpful, and professional, to our dining servers Jesus and Aleandro to name a few that made us feel welcome and special every single day. Lastly...when you have a swim up bar...the service can be dicey, but when it is being provided by Leandro, he is second to none! Thank you to all the employees that made our vacation at Colonial Majestic so incredible...we will be back!

The overall rating for Majestic Colonial is Excellent. All staff members are friendly and make you feel welcomed. The rooms could use a lot of updating to the toilets and outlets. Buffets aren't bad but the other restaurants are great for ordering a specific menu item. Entertainment nights are fun and the courtyard music and dancing before and after the shows are a definitely plus. The Disco is a lot of fun and the DJs are intuned to the audience and play songs accordingly. All bars are great!
