This was our 5th time to Punta Cana and our 1st time to Live Aqua. This Resort had the absolute BEST food we've ever had in Punta Cana! Every restaurant had amazing chefs, the buffets were great, and the fact that you did not need reservations made it even better! It really took the hassle away from figuring out what to eat, because sometimes you just don't want to pick reservations days in advance. We will definitely 100% will be back! Our personal team to acknowledge was Alexis, Jeffry, the senorita in the café shop (I didn't get her name), & Rafael at the beach bar. Truly every staff member went above and beyond their job! They really are all great and friendly! I miss it already!

This was my first vacation with my son, and unfortunately our stay at Live Aqua Punta Cana was extremely disappointing. Instead of a smooth check-in, we were immediately taken by a host named Garcia, who pushed a spa package and required us to attend a breakfast meeting with his manager. What should have taken minutes turned into over an hour, when all I wanted was to get to my room and enjoy my vacation. At breakfast, the manager Pedro aggressively tried to sell us a membership. Despite repeatedly saying we were not interested, he continued to pressure us, criticized booking through Expedia, and refused to respect our decision. He even made an insulting and inappropriate comment, suggesting I should take the membership because that was all I could afford. Every refusal led to another sales pitch. It felt like harassment and completely ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing experience—especially being my first trip with my son. I will never return to Live Aqua Punta Cana, and I strongly advise others to be aware of the aggressive sales tactics used here. And to Expedia: please do better. You should not be doing business with resorts that harass guests and attempt to undermine your customers’ booking choices.

My husband and I would love to go back here again. We had a swim-up room, which came with VIP check-in and a butler. The service was outstanding. The food and drinks were delicious. The resort is easily walkable and well-maintained. It felt luxurious and even smelled good! The pools and beach were relaxing. We enjoyed the spa and hydrotherapy area. We definitely recommend it for a relaxing sun vacation.

It's a tranquil resort! Just what i needed. Bathroom should be more separated from bedroom in the Junior suite. When i turned on the light at night it would wake up hubby. Other than that, just lovely!

Very clean and quiet resort. I haven’t done many all inclusives but people in my group have and they said this one is well above the average. The biggest thing was the number of staff compared to the number of guests. Every corner had at least 2 staff members smiling and asking if you needed anything. Breakfast and lunch buffet were incredible. Lots of options and variety. Evening restaurants were good too but the buffet is where the food really shines. I saw some people complaining about the pool temperature in the winter time. For us in early January, it was refreshing but not too cold. Very impressed overall and would stay again for sure.
