The staff was not friendly or helpful. Be aware that they will take your ID and keep it for the duration of your stay. Rooms were fine, but no hand towels or bath mats provided. Breakfast is from 8-10 am. But don't show up close to 10 am! They won't serve you and simply tell you the kitchen is closed.

Does NOT have direct access to beach, DIRTY sheets, Moldy rooms and the wifi is a joke. The ONLY place you have wifi is right near the reception desk. "Common areas" is another lie. No wifi at pool, restaurant/bar, basketball court. We went two days without towels. If you do not tip they do not clean your room and will take your towels. If you have children and want to take them to the beach you must walk 25 mins to Los Corales (closest public beach) and bring chairs or towels to sit on. Also a 15 min walk from the main food strip in area. The restaurant next door where you get free breakfast has slow service (took about an hour to get our food each day) and you still have to pay taxes on the food, so not "free". I would not recommend this hotel. It does not look like the photos and it should not be deemed as a "good" rated hotel.

Grounds , room and staff were fine. But one day the maids cleaned the toom and i came back late, no towels! The hotel advvertised a continental breakfast but instead, it was a small breakfast from the next door restaurant- only one coffe! On xmas day there was no breakfast, no notificatipn, and most place were closed so limited food choices! The breakfast was supposed to be included for all the days. If they had let the guests know ahead of time we could have been prepared.

Our stay was good. We wanted a balcony but they gave us a room without it so that threw us off bc we smoke and we had to leave the room to do so. Also, the hotel manager, Javier made very rude comments about the staff. Racial discrimination against Haitians. I’m Dominican and didn’t like it at all! . It didn’t sit well with us.

Password was wrong and they had a hard time communicating what the password actually was. On their Password list at the front desk that I was told to take a picture of it, did not work and it took about a half an hour to sort that out. I was told to just come to the lobby if I wanted to use Internet and even if I was connected, it wouldn’t work in the room, and I was instructed to just go to the balcony to use the Internet. Managed to get it connected, but Internet is very sporadic and slow, constantly losing signal. The room is extremely rundown. Bathroom is gross, everything is mounted in properly. TV is crooked on the wall. Pictures are crooked on the wall half inch gaps underneath the door where critters can come in. But the biggest thing that I was concerned about was Security at night because the doors only have one lock and no deadbolt or security lock when you’re sleeping. I definitely wouldn’t stay here with a child. No telephone. No Lamps Cleaning ladies woke me up knocking at my door at 8:55 am asking to clean room when checkout hadn’t even passed. Air conditioning unit was almost directly above the bed. Picture on the wall had broken glass in it. The room had a small desk but no reachable electrical plug to plug in a laptop. Fridge was unplugged when I got here and took a couple hours for it to get too cold. No hot water after running it for ten minutes The pool had a nasty shade of green instead of nice and clean No cups, or coffee machine Won’t go back!!!!!

Cortecito Inn is a wonderful hotel. The property is so well kept, clean and safe. The rooms need a little bit of renovation because it’s older but we love it and will go back again.

The property has potential, there was no phone in the room, the bathroom wouldn’t flush . I had to open the back of toilet and flush myself . On July 7th 2025 there was a blackout there was no light or water.No one at front desk, no one reaches out to the guests . I had to go outside and ask the locals , the reception never asked if anyone was okay. The blackout was for over 2 hours. I don’t recommend this place, dirty bathroom, the faucet was disgusting and rusted.

Dated convenient bed and breakfast. Noisy area. Next door restaurant ended Karaoke at 2 am. Had no hot water, but bed and sheets were clean. Convenient free parking. Beach is across the street behind the stores. Refrigerator and air conditioner ar very old. Internet access only at lobby. Good for a quick stop ot to spend one night. Captain Hook restaurant is really good and located acroos the street from hotel. Breakfast is decent.

During my stay at the hotel, there were a few cons but overall great. One of the issues we had during our stay was getting our shower to work, as it would keep turning on and off for us (I believe because other people were trying to use the water as well). Although half of our week stay, we didn’t have too much of a problem with it. The hotel is right next to the beach, it takes about 2 minutes to get there which is amazing. They also have mini markets, touristy stores, and many restaurants around that are great and convenient. The staff were super sweet to us during our entire stay as well as some of the local people near the hotel. The breakfast was amazing as well! Overall, the stay was pretty great.

The property environment is great and in a great location, the beach is close to the property and other amenities for shopping e.g gifts, food and drinks etc. The staffs are good and the place in good. Although, the rooms needs to well taken care of as we had some difficult experience with the rooms and we have to change our rooms about 3times. First, we saw a lizard in the room with spider web, The TV of the second room wasn't working but we didn't have issues with that until the AC in the room stopped working. The 3rd room had issues with water not draining in the bath Tub. There is also no internet in the rooms. Other than that, the place is nice.

We were shown 3 different available rooms.. All 3 had snags:-Dirty floors, no light in bathroom, no cable TV, no wifi in rooms, toilets not flushing properly. And in the 3rd room, we had a water leak from the toilet.. We then decided to abandon the booking and left to a better hotel.
