The resort itself is beautiful — the beach is clean, the bars are enjoyable, and there are fun extras like the little arcade, shopping center, and casino. The property has a lot of potential, and the location is very good.
Unfortunately, my overall experience was mixed. We were placed right next to a construction site, which meant early morning wake-ups to the sound of drilling. That definitely affected the relaxation I was hoping for.
The biggest issue, however, was the service in the dining areas. On our first day, service was excellent — we were seated, offered water immediately, and even asked if we wanted wine or drinks. Sadly, that was the last time the service felt that attentive. Most of the time, it felt as if younger guests (like us) were overlooked. We often had to stand up and ask for drinks ourselves, while older guests at nearby tables received table service without hesitation. At one point, I asked for orange juice and was told to get it myself, even though guests at the next table (who looked 35–45) had it brought to them right away.
It created an uncomfortable feeling — almost as if we weren’t taken seriously because of our age (I’m 25). I also noticed other young couples facing the same issue. Meanwhile, some staff members seemed disengaged, sometimes standing around or joking with each other instead of serving guests.
